Exciting News!!!

Wow! So, 2023 has been a rollercoaster y’all. I’m just going to talk about the good because none of us a need the negativity!

In looking to find a space for Family Yoga this Summer, I found a completely new practice and I’m now offering Chair Yoga at Elder Pep Day Club & Spa in Bon Air. It’s been so rewarding getting to know and work with some of our senior community. If you know anyone over 55 that is looking for a fun and creative way to spend their weekdays, they should definitely consider doing a trial membership which are currently discounted through June. I’m there Fridays!

I recently became certified in Mental Health First Aid for Adults and Youth and took REVIVE training with the Friends of Prevention Coalition and the Richmond Behavioral Health Association. 1 in 5 people will experience a mental health challenge and the opioid epidemic is not going to fix itself. If you are interested in becoming certified please reach out for more information and I’ll be happy to set you in the right direction.

In light of that training, I’ve started a weekend night Instagram Live yoga hangout with one of my best friends, Erin. It’s called Last Call Yoga and you can catch us on my IG @mostefinitly and her YouTube @@erin_space. 12AM EST/9PM PST Saturday nights. We do a light yoga practice catered to service industry folks, chat about the week and do a quick tarot and oracle pull for the week ahead.

I also have a promo going, F Around & Find Out Yoga. Free 30 min super basic, beginners class for people who hate yoga. It can be scheduled in person or online. I’m also working on a monthly in person mental health and trauma processing yoga hang out called Traumarama that I’m kind of in love with. I’m in love with everything tbh.

Last and most unbelievably, unreal thing, I applied for and have been awarded a grant through NextUp to work with Richmond Teens (ages 12-19) and their families this Summer! I am so honored and humbled by this process. This is extra unreal because I was able to work with Diversity Richmond and because of their generosity, we’ll be able to meet in their large event space. Classes start July 6th and will run for 6 weeks, every Thursday evening from 6:30pm-7:30pm. Sign up is live! Teen registration includes a yoga block and mat while supplies last.

Thanks so much for your continued support. If you’d like to donate to helping Richmond youth and families and towards “The Big Goal”, Venmo @mostefinitly. I’m still working on my pre/postnatal yoga certification but I’ll be announcing those classes and more information on Traumarama soon.

As always, stay tuned. Also, keep going. You’re doing great. <3

Love, Steph xo
