The Big Goal/Our Mission

Hi, my name is Steph. Prior to COVID-19, my partner, Jordan and I were both long time Restaurant industry employees and after Quarantine shutdown our profession for months, we left the industry to pursue other careers to continue to provide for our family.

The thing about these other careers is we still have the same late hours and the same seemingly impossible childcare needs. I personally got into Healthcare and anyone who is a parent, without family in town, is in the same boat. Even if we weren’t working late or overnight, the cost for childcare almost makes working not worth it. The time you miss with your family and the stigma often found with careers with “unconventional” hours is definitely not worth it.

So, what do we do?
We create a solution.
One that helps families like ours, normalizes the lifestyles of a huge portion of the American workforce and most importantly,
makes our kids happy and healthier in the process.

Too many people have given up great paying jobs because they couldn’t find the right resources for their family. Too many businesses are failing because people have to choose between family and work. I believe we can build a community together and that’s why
I hope you’ll join us in the creation of Night Owls.

Our mission is to create a fun & secure environment for families who operate outside of “traditional” hours while also building a network of parents to create an inclusive & understanding community for all of our Owls.
